Apply for Non-Mains Sewage System Community Emptying Grant Scheme

The Lake District Foundation is running a pilot project in the Skelwith Bridge area.We are delighted to offer grants covering 100% of emptying costs, up to £300, to the first 50 eligible applicants.This scheme is a great way to save on domestic costs, whilst also having a positive impact on the surrounding watercourse and environment.To apply for a grant, please complete the application form below. Applications will be assessed by project staff, who will respond to your application within 28 days. Priority will be given to projects in the LA22 9NW / 9NP / 9NJ areas, but we welcome applicants from the whole Windermere catchment area. If you are unsure whether you are eligible please talk to us. If you are made an offer of a grant, you can then go ahead with emptying and pay the carrier. The LDF will reimburse your costs upon receipt of satisfactory evidence (photos and receipts). The deadline for applications is Friday 12th January 2024.
